 REGISTRATION INFORMATION 2010-2011

 

You must register in person  Monday through Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.  Please call Mrs. Pohl at 410-944-0367 for an appointment.

PLEASE BRING:

                 1.   Your child’s birth certificate

                 2.   Your child’s baptismal certificate (if Catholic)

                 3.   Your child’s social security number

                 4.   Your child’s immunization records

                 5.   Your child’s latest report card and standardized test scores (grades 2-8)          

                 6.   Two (2) recommendations (grades 2-8) (included in registration packet)

                 7.   Completed school records request (included in registration packet)

                 8.   Medical examination required before first day of school (Forms to be given

                  at time of registration)

                 9.   Completed registration form including signed policy statement (included in

                  registration packet)

                 10. STUDENT FEES:

                                  Book/Instructional Fee (includes standardized testing        130.00

                           -JPRCS allocation from the State of Maryland for each

                            student in Catholic School for 2010-2011 school year      -  20.00

TESTING INFORMATION:

 

                 Testing for new students entering K-8 is required.  Your child must be registered in order to be tested.

 

TUITION INFORMATION:

 

                 Tuition for the 2010-2011 school year is:  $5,500.00

TUITION ASSISTANCE:

 

                 St. Gabriel Parishioners Only:

                 Applications for tuition assistance are available in the parish office.

EXTENDED SCHOOL PROGRAM:

 

                 Hours available:

                                  Before school  - 7:00 a.m. until opening of school

                                  After school     - after school until 6:00 p.m.

UNIFORMS:

 

Grades P3-8 - The official uniform company for John Paul Regional Catholic School is Arthur’s School Uniforms. You must purchase dress uniforms, summer uniforms and gym uniforms from the official uniform company only.

Fee Structure:

 

                 Before School        7:00 a.m. to school opening                                 $130.00 due monthly

                 After School          school closing to 6:00 p.m.                                  $170.00 due monthly

                 Before & After      7:00 a.m. to 6:00p.m.                                             $230.00 due monthly

 

                 YOU WILL RECEIVE AN INVOICE MONTHLY FOR THIS SERVICE INCLUDED WITH YOUR REGULAR TUITION INVOICE.  THE FIRST PAYMENT IS DUE  SEPTEMBER 5.     

 

 

                 Daily                                         before school only                                 $12.00 per day

                                                                    after school only                                     $15.00 per day

 

                 YOU WILL BE BILLED ON A MONTHLY BASIS (AFTER THE FACT) FOR THIS DAILY DROP-IN SERVICE.

 

 

                 Overtime                                  before 7 a.m./after 6 p.m.                     see below

 

                 AN OVERTIME CHARGE WILL BE ASSESSED PER CHILD FOR ANY TIME AFTER 6 P.M.  THE CHARGE IS $10.00 FOR THE FIRST 15 MINUTES OR ANY PORTION THEREOF AND $5.00 FOR EVERY 5 MINUTES AFTER THE FIRST 15 MINUTES.  THIS MUST BE PAID IN CASH AT THE TIME OF PICK-UP.  THIS PROCEDURE WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED.

 

Schedule:

 

                 The annual calendar indicates dates when extended school will be closed.

                 Unscheduled cancellations may occur due to inclement weather.  The school follows the Baltimore County Public School system for delayed openings/early closings due to weather conditions.

                 Other unscheduled cancellations may occur due to a problem unique to our school.  In such instances, parents/guardians will be notified.
